Tom Brady on anthem protests: ‘Love is the greatest thing we have’

Several New England Patriots, including Tom Brady, locked arms during the national anthem.

 

Tom Brady declined to directly address President Donald Trump in his postgame press conference on Sunday, but he did give some insight into his decision to lock arms with teammates during the national anthem.

Brady locked arms with wide receiver Phillip Dorsett in the pre-game anthem, noting that he has a “great love for my teammates.”

When asked if he had a response to the president’s comments, Brady reacted by trying to focus on his own positive outlook:
