Jacoby Brissett adopts Tom Brady’s catchphrase in thank you note to the Patriots
The Patriots ‘wolfpack‘ is now down to two. But Jacoby Brissett won’t soon forget that bond.
In an Instagram post Sunday morning, the former third-string quarterback thanked the Patriots organization, as well as his teammates in New England. Brissett was traded Saturday to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for receiver Phillip Dorsett.
To the Patriots organization thank you for the opportunity,” Brisett said in his farewell post.
“The countless memories will live forever,” he said. “To that locker and the friends/relationships that I’ve [gained] in such a short amount of time thank you guys for accepting me.”

Brissett used the hashtag #BloodBrothers, a term Tom Brady has also used in the past to refer to the Patriots’ trio of quarterbacks. During the 2016 season, due to Brady’s four-game suspension and Jimmy Garoppolo’s injury, the then-rookie started two games for the Patriots.
In his post Saturday, Brissett even cribbed Brady’s oft-used hype catchphrase, looking ahead to his future with the Colts.
“Excited for this new journey in Indy and can’t wait to get started,” he said, later adding, “Letsssss Gooooo.”
