After sitting out the Patriots’ first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Tom Brady didn’t have to merely go through the motions during the team’s next contest.

He took his first snaps of the upcoming season against the Houston Texans on Saturday night and connected with new running back Rex Burkhead for a 22-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
