Watch the Dropkick Murphys reenact the Patriots’ Super Bowl XLIX win
The Dropkick Murphys shipped up to Seattle on Wednesday for a performance at the WaMu Theatre. Before they took the stage, however, the Quincy-bred punk band stopped by CenturyLink Field to have some fun on the home turf of the Seahawks.
As an homage to Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler’s game-saving interception in the closing seconds of Super Bowl XLIX, the group lined up at the goal line and reenacted the play. Guitar technician Jay Cannava posted the video on Instagram.
