As the start of the Patriots’ 2017 training camp approaches, new faces will be rolling into Foxborough (if they aren’t already there) to begin work.

Those newcomers and rookies have taken over roster spots created by the natural turnover that occurs every year in the NFL. So where have the more notable ex-Patriots who were in camp a year ago landed? Let’s take a look:

■ LeGarrette Blount: Blount signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, joining fellow veterans Darren Sproles and Ryan Mathews in the backfield.

■ Logan Ryan: The Tennessee Titans signed the cornerback to a three-year, $30 million contract this offseason.

■ Martellus Bennett: The tight end landed with the Green Bay Packers, signing a three-year, $18 million deal. This will be his fifth team as he enter his 10th year in the league.

■ Chris Long: The defensive end will be in Philadelphia with Blount after signing a two-year deal with the Eagles to try to gain more of a role than just a rotational player.

■ Jamie Collins: The Patriots traded the linebacker to the Browns midseason last year. He went on to sign a four-year extension with Cleveland.

■ Jabaal Sheard: The defensive end signed a three-year deal in March with the Indianapolis Colts.

■ Jonathan Cooper: The offensive lineman signed with the Dallas Cowboys in January for the playoffs and then signed a one-year deal with them in March.

■ Tre’ Jackson: The 2015 Patriots draft pick, a guard, was released in April and has yet to land with another club.

■ Josh Kline: The Patriots released the offensive lineman a year ago. The Titans claimed him, and he went on to start 14 games for Tennessee. He is still with the club.

■ Bryan Stork: The center retired in March.
