Tom Brady wished his ‘super mom’ a very happy birthday

Tom Brady celebrated more than Independence Day on the Fourth of July. America happens to share its birthday with Brady’s mother, Galynn, who turned 73 on Tuesday.

The quarterback shared a photo of his mom wearing his most recent Super Bowl championship ring, with the caption: “Happy Birthday to the most SUPER MOM a son could ever ask for!!! I love you Mom I am the luckiest son in the world!!!”

Galynn, who was diagnosed with cancer 18 months before Super Bowl LI, recently completed her chemotherapy and radiation.

“She’s doing a lot better,” Brady shared on a recent episode of ESPN E:60. “The prognosis is good. She’s on the right path. Her treatments have finished and everyone is happy about that.”
