Without much hesitation, most Patriots fans would probably name quarterback Tom Brady as the best player in the NFL. According to the league’s recently released list of its top 100 players, Brady’s peers seem to agree.

Seven seasons after being voted No. 1 in 2011, the New England quarterback was once again deemed the top dog on the latest iteration of the “NFL Top 100.” The ranking, which is determined by fellow players through an offseason poll, is a reflection of the individual’s projected performance in the upcoming season. Brady became just the first player to ever receive the honor twice.

Last year, the 40-year-old finished as No. 2, only behind Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. In the list’s seven-year history, Brady has never been outside of the top 5.
