The Patriots are taking a flyer on a trick-shot kicker with a soccer background and a strong and accurate leg that has never been tested at the college level.
The Patriots invited Josh Gable, who was discovered playing for the Nebraska Danger of the Indoor Football League, to participate in the team’s upcoming minicamp, which will include their recently drafted crop of rookies.
