Following two trades, Patriots draft DE Derek Rivers, OL Antonio Garcia

The Patriots on Friday made two trades in the third round of the NFL Draft, and selected a defensive end and an offensive lineman.

First, they sent the 72nd and 200th picks to Tennessee for the 83rd and 124th picks. Then, they sent the 96th and 124 picks to the Detroit for the 85th pick.

The moves netted them Youngstown State defensive end Derek Rivers at No. 83 and Troy offensive lineman Antonio Garcia at No. 85.
