Others, however, still believe there’s a chance that the Patriots may deal the backup QB in exchange for a higher pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
At the Celtics-Bulls game on Wednesday night, CSNNE’s Mike Giardi asked Garoppolo: “On the eve of the NFL Draft, do you have any nerves knowing that your name has been out there for months and months?”
With a chuckle, the 25-year-old responded: “No nerves. Just trying to enjoy the game with the guys tonight. It’s a special thing coming out here.”
Garoppolo, who was spotted court-side next to offensive tackle Cameron Fleming and center David Andrews, watched the Celtics defeat the Bulls with a number of his teammates. Also in attendance were newly signed Patriots Stephon Gilmore and Brandin Cooks.
