President Donald Trump welcomed the New England Patriots to the White House Wednesday, holding a ceremony on the White House lawn to commemorate the team’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51.

“What a group of champions, all of them,” Trump said, as Patriots players, coaches, and executives stood behind him. “And Bob, I want to commend you for building such an extraordinary organization. Five Super Bowl victories since 2002, really unbelievable. No team has been this good for this long.”

After a short speech from Patriots team president Robert Kraft, Trump posed for a photo with Kraft and coach Bill Belichick holding a commemorative Super Bowl 51 Patriots jersey, with No. 45 on the back. Following that, Belichick said a few words, before stepping aside to let Trump receive a Patriots helmet from the team.
