Tom Brady makes a joke about his Super Bowl missed tackle

After throwing an interception during the second quarter of Super Bowl LI, Tom Brady refused to give up. Running as fast as he could, the Patriots’ quarterback went full extension to try and make a tackle. His dive missed its mark, and Robert Alford ran the ball back for a Falcons touchdown.

At that point, the Patriots appeared headed for an ignominious end to their season. It led to a picture that threatened to define Brady’s Super Bowl LI experience.

But that was before the comeback.

Climbing out of a seemingly insurmountable deficit, Brady and the Patriots marched all the way back from 25 points down to win the Super Bowl in overtime, 34-28. In the aftermath, Brady took to Facebook for some self-deprecating humor.
