Tom Brady’s son made a cameo appearence during a radio interview
"He was playing against the green guys."
Tom Brady was in the middle of his weekly radio interview on Westwood One when a special guest interrupted the usual line of questions.
Brady’s son, Benjamin, walked into the room where his father was speaking on the phone. He promptly interjected.
“Hey Mr. Gray,” said the 6-year-old to radio host Jim Gray.
Perfectly confident in fielding questions, “Benny” excitedly answered several questions about the holidays. Asked about the game on Sunday, he said he knew the opposing team by the distinctive color of the New York Jets’ uniforms.
“Yeah, he was playing against the green guys,” Benny said. “I don’t know what they’re called, but they’re very good.”
Asked how his father played, Benny happily answered before offering a more transparent appraisal of Brady’s health than Bill Belichick will ever volunteer.
“Great,” Benny said about how his father played. “He flipped his chest. And he tripped, too. And he got even more hurt.”
Benny was asked how much more hurt his father is.
“I don’t know. He’s like a donkey,” Benny said. When Gray wanted him to explain how he’s like a donkey, Benny simply said, “In a crazy way.”
And though the Patriots play the Rams next week, Benny is already looking forward to a more anticipated game in two weeks.
“He’s going to be like, next fight with the Broncos, it’s going to be crazy,” said the 6-year-old. “He’s going to be like a horse next time.”
“He can look ahead, Brady said about his son. “I can’t. We have the Rams next week.”
