LeGarrette Blount in the open field is a frightening thing
Dion Lewis may be back, but don’t forget about LeGarrette Blount anytime soon.
Late in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against 49ers, the 250-pound Patriots running back picked up some good blocks, skipped through an attempted tackle, and found himself in the open field.
If not for the lone 49ers defender being blocked by Malcolm Mitchell, there’s no telling how far Blount might have gone.
