Tom Brady’s mom thinks he’s the ‘fastest player on the field’
And Brady took a page from the Belichick school of style for the press conference.
Tom Brady might still have the slowest electronically recorded forty time in the history of the NFL rookie combine, but he has always been able to count on at least one person to think of him as being fast.
The 39-year-old quarterback, who has never been deemed to possess great foot speed, was asked in a Wednesday press conference about his scrambling ability (which has served him well at times). Specifically, Brady was asked how he manages to be effective despite not being that fast.
In response, Brady cited his biggest advocate:

Brady, wearing a cut-off hoodie in the mold of Bill Belichick, doesn’t seem to agree with his mother’s assertion.
