Jamie Collins is out, but the Patriots offense looks full strength for Tom Brady’s first home game
Patriots outside linebacker Jamie Collins won’t be on the field Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Collins is out for the Week 6 game due to a hip injury that surfaced mid-week, the team announced Sunday morning. He had been limited in practice Thursday and Friday due to the injury. According to the Patriots’ inactive list, linebacker Shea McClellin will also be out Sunday.

Though thin at the outside linebacker position, the Patriots’ offensive talent will be active against the Bengals. With the exception of running back Brandon Bolden, Tom Brady will have the Patriots’ full arsenal of running backs and receivers at his disposal.
Rob Gronkowski, Martellus Bennett, Julian Edelman, and LeGarrette Blount—all of whom were listed as questionable this week—are active for Sunday’s 1 p.m. game.
While the Patriots will have a full-strength receiving corps Sunday, the Bengals will remain without starting tight end Tyler Eifert. Eifert, who is yet to play this season, will miss the team’s sixth game as he recovers from offseason ankle surgery, as well as a recent back injury.
