The Patriots struggled on offense against the Bills throughout a disappointing game, but salvaged at least one silver lining in the form of Rob Gronkowski.

Having missed the first two games through injury, Gronkowski was heavily limited in his season debut against the Texans on September 22. Finally, facing the Bills at home in Week 4, he made his first catch of the 2016 season on a pass from rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett:
