Before Sunday’s game, Patriots President Jonathan Kraft criticized Bills coach Rex Ryan, after players from the two teams got in a pre-game shoving match instigated by Bills cornerback Robert Blanton.

“That gets back to Rex,” Kraft told 98.5 The Sports Hub, as CSNNE reported. “I think if you are less than disciplined in your personal approach, your team will take on the attitude of the coach.”

“That’s why Rex is Rex and Bill is Bill,” Kraft added.

Following the Bills’ 16-0 shutout win against the Patriots, Ryan was asked about the game during his post-game press conference.

“I don’t think they were as disciplined as they needed to be,” he said. “So I probably think that’s what happened there.”

Blanton also seemingly picked up on Kraft’s choice of words after the game.
