Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett throws a pass during the first quarter.

Jacoby Brissett may have made the highlight reel with his legs, but the rookie quarterback’s arm also got some work Thursday in the Patriots 27-0 win over the Texans.

Filling in for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo and suspended Tom Brady, the Patriots’ third-string QB completed 11 of 19 passes for 103 yards in his first NFL start. Brissett didn’t throw a touchdown or an interception, and added 48 yards and a TD on the ground.
