The Patriots scraped out a win in Week 1 thanks to a strong all-around performance in Arizona, but faced a new challenge in the home opener against the Miami Dolphins, led by new head coach Adam Gase. The Dolphins brought back much of the same team from last season, including quarterback Ryan Tannehill, wide receiver Jarvis Landy, defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, and safety Reshad Jones, and added Arian Foster and Mario Williams.
