LeGarrette Blount didn’t approve of the Bills leaving Tyrod Taylor in last night’s game

Other than Colin Kaepernick, the biggest recent discussion around the NFL has been the handling of player head injuries. After Cam Newton took several hits to the head and stayed in the game, commissioner Roger Goodell announced the league would focus more closely on addressing concussions.

Just a day after the release from the NFL, Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor took a massive hit from several players on a run during last night’s Thursday Night Football matchup with the Jets.

Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount weighed in on Twitter, understandably taking the side of player safety:

Although Blount is a bruising running back who doles out plenty of blows himself, as a ball carrier he’s just as susceptible to concussions as anyone else.
