New England Patriots

Did Tom Brady anonymously call in to a Boston sports talk radio station?

Tom Brady has a lot of free time on his hands these days, but did the suspended Patriots quarterback call into a Boston sports talk radio station Wednesday pretending to be someone else?

On Wednesday morning, 98.5 The Sports Hub host Fred Toucher fielded a call from “Matt”, who said he grew up in San Diego but has been in New England for 20 years (For what it’s worth, Brady is in his 17th season with the Patriots). The caller then complained to Toucher and cohost Rich Shertenlieb about the show’s constant poking fun of Brady’s friendship with Julian Edelman.

“It occurs to me that being true New England guys, you have to have something to complain about,” the caller says. “You’ve got three GOATS on the same team, Belichick, Brady, and Gronk, you’ve got the Red Sox in first place, so all that leaves you to go to is that the greatest of all-time has got a good relationship with his receiver, and his wife’s Gisele Bundchen.”

Several listeners familiar with Brady’s voice swore it was the Patriots quarterback.
