The Olympian that Tom Brady would ‘love to be like’
"I’d love to be the fastest guy on the planet."
Tom Brady still holds the record for slowest electronically recorded 40-yard dash time of any quarterback in the history of the NFL rookie combine (5.28 seconds).
With that in mind, Brady had a predictable answer when he was asked a hypothetical question about playing another sport in an interview with New York Magazine.
“I’ve always been the slowest guy on the team, so I’d love to be like Usain Bolt,” Brady told New York’s Dayna Evans. “I’d love to be the fastest guy on the planet.”

Brady also offered how he would love to have speed in a more relevant setting: On the football field.
“When I’m on the field, I sometimes think, ‘Man if I could just run away from everybody, how hard would this game really be?'”
Here are a few other notable points from the interview:
The number of UGGs he owns: “I have a lot. More than you could ever imagine.”
What “doing nothing” actually means to Tom Brady: “I like to take a little nap here and there. Read a book. Definitely listen to music. Anything that is just chilling a little bit.”
What he normally wears: “I’m a pretty casual dresser. At home, it’s probably whatever is functional to relax in, whether it’s a pair of sweats or a pair of jeans.”
His relationship with strawberries: “I’ve never eaten a strawberry in my life. I have no desire to do that.”
