Cardinals miss their chance to take down Patriots: The Patriots held on for a 23-21 victory after Arizona kicker Chandler Catanzaro missed a 48-yard field goal that would have won the game for the Cardinals. Jimmy Garoppolo looked very good against a tough defense, completing 24-of-33 passes for 264 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions. Bill Belichick has no time for Jimmy Garoppolo storylines: After a strong debut by Garoppolo, a reporter asked Belichick if the “prevailing storyline” was that Garoppolo had exceeded expectations or if the team had watered down the game plan to aid him.
