Here’s what Tom Brady’s injured thumb looks like

It looks just fine.

Tom Brady’s spiral should be in good shape.

The Patriots quarterback’s thumb appears to be fine after Brady reportedly sliced his thumb with scissors and missed the Patriots’ preseason win over the Bears last Thursday.

He missed practice on Sunday and Monday “to take care of something,” he said during a press conference Tuesday. But he returned to practice on Tuesday.

“I was just trying to get something out of my shoe and the scissors slipped; just a silly accident,” Brady said Tuesday. “Good, yeah it took a few days. I wanted to go and coach [Bill Belichick] said it’s probably best, for what I was going to go out and do, if we just take it easy. So that’s what I ended up doing.”
