The rookie wide receiver nabbed four receptions before leaving.
Patriots wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell left the team’s preseason game against the Saints on Thursday night with an elbow injury.
Mitchell’s left elbow appeared to buckle under his weight as he fell to the ground following an 8-yard catch in the second quarter. He quickly left the field clutching his left arm, and headed for the locker room.
