Rob Gronkowski was back on the field for the Patriots Monday

Rob Gronkowski made his first on-field appearance during the Patriots’ offseason program on Monday. The Patriots tight end ran routes and caught passes from Tom Brady, as seen in the video below.

“It felt great,” Gronkowski told reporters after practice. “It’s always good to be out there with your teammates, working with your teammates in individual drills, team drills, just being out there, getting on the same page, just getting into flow with them. It’s always good to get back out on the field.”
Gronkowski told reporters Saturday he was participating behind the scenes during the previous practices at OTAs. According to ESPN.com, Gronk was dealing with a minor injury, and the Patriots were holding him out of practice as a precaution.
