Julian Edelman had 2 very loud words for Boston Calling fans
Julian Edelman didn’t sing any songs when he took the stage Saturday night at Boston Calling. But he did deliver a simple message that surely resonated with the music festival’s New England crowd.
“I have two words for everyone here,” the Patriots wide receiver said, before more than slightly raising his volume.
“Free Brady!”

Tom Brady, who targeted Edelman more than any other Patriots wide receiver in 2015, is currently in the midst of a drawn-out appeal of his four-game Deflategate suspension.
Edelman proceeded to watch Saturday night’s headliner Robyn from the photo pit with friends, according to Boston Calling organizers.

The wide receiver, who was seen on-stage in walking boot, recently underwent a minor surgery on his previously broken left foot, but reportedly should be ready for training camp. He was also recently celebrated his 30th birthday with fellow Patriots pass-catcher Danny Amendola—with a champagne shower.
