Tedy Bruschi: If Warriors don’t make NBA Finals, ‘they’re worse’ than 18-1 Patriots
Going 73-9 doesn’t mean a thing without a conference championship, according to Tedy Bruschi.
The former Patriots linebacker made an appearance on ESPN’s His and Hers on Wednesday, and claimed that the 2007, 18-1 Patriots would be better than the 2016 Warriors if they fail to make the NBA Finals.
“To not make [The Finals], if they lose this one, let’s say this: they are worst than 18-1,” Bruschi said.
“I hear the comment in the hallway, ‘if the Golden State Warriors don’t win, they’re just 18-1.’ But I’ll tell you what. We did make the Super Bowl. If we lost in the AFC Championship Game, that would’ve been embarrassing.”
