On May 19, 2014, the Patriots signed a 24-year-old cornerback out of Division 2 West Alabama who 30 teams had just passed up on in the 2014 NFL Draft.  Just under nine months later, he became a Super Bowl hero.

Following his iconic game-winning interception in the final seconds of Super Bowl XLXI, Malcolm Butler has found a home in New England — and on Thursday, he commemorated his two-year anniversary with the team by posting a photo to his Instagram account.

Butler had 56 tackles and two interceptions en route to his first pro bowl selection in his second season with the Patriots in 2015.
