The terms of the deal have not been released yet. Last season, Yahoo! spent $17 million to stream a game in London between the Bills and Jaguars on Oct. 25, and CBS Corp. and Comcast Corp.’s NBC each spent $45 million per game for five Thursday night games in 2016 and 2017, according to Bloomberg.
“This new deal builds on the great success of our Amplify partnership the past 3 years w/ the NFL,” Twitter COO Adam Bain said on Twitter. “It also continues our strategy to build world’s best daily connected audience that watches together & can talk w one another in real-time.
The announcement comes just over two years after the NFL reached a deal with Twitter to make football highlights and other content available to post.
