Patriots reportedly signing former UConn running back Donald Brown
The Patriots’ free agency flurry continues.
Donald Brown agreed to contract terms with the New England Patriots on Wednesday afternoon, according to Fox Sports’ Peter Schrager. The Boston Herald reported that Brown had signed a deal on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source.

Brown played eight seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers, where he shared a backfield with former Patriots running back Danny Woodhead. Brown has 695 career rushing attempts for 2,829 yards and 18 touchdowns. In 89 games, he has fumbled once but has never lost a fumble. During the 2015 season, the former first-round pick played 10 games with 59 carries for 229 yards and one touchdown.
In his senior season at UConn, he rushed for 367 attempts, 2,083 yards, and 18 touchdowns.
