Chandler Jones thanks Patriots fans and Kraft family for ‘special’ time in New England
Chandler Jones expressed appreciation for his time with the New England Patriots on Twitter shortly after it was reported he had been traded to the Arizona Cardinals. The Patriots sent the defensive end to the Cardinals on Tuesday in exchange for guard Jonathan Cooper and a second-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft.

In 55 career games with the Patriots over four seasons, Jones compiled 217 total tackles and 36 sacks. His 12.5 sacks in 2015 ranked fifth in the NFL as he earned his first career Pro Bowl selection.
