Waddle was waived by the Lions during the 2015 regular season before signing with the Patriots, who were struggling with injuries along the offensive line. Waddle filled in for Sebastian Vollmer during the Patriots’ Week 16 matchup against the Jets, but suffered an ankle injury that ended his season.
Waddle had 24 starts with the Lions. He rejoins the Patriots tackle group which includes Nate Solder, Vollmer, Marcus Cannon, and Cameron Fleming.
