Roger Goodell made $34.1 million in 2014

And that’s a pay cut from 2013

Roger Goodell made more than Tom Brady in 2014 — a lot more.

The NFL commissioner made $34.1 million, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell. Goodell’s salary was revealed in a tax filling by the NFL on Tuesday. Among NFL players, Jay Cutler made the highest base salary in 2014 with $17.5 million. Brady made $5.6 million in 2014 including his base salary and bonuses (that doesn’t factor in the $30 million signing bonus he received in 2013).

Goodell took a pay cut, as he made $44.2 million in 2013. This year’s tax filing will likely be the last revealed to the public, as the NFL gave up its tax-exempt status in 2015.
