Donovan McNabb has said it before and he’ll say it again: He didn’t puke in Super Bowl XXXIX.

It’s been over a decade since the former Eagles’ quarterback lost 24-21 to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, but there has been a long-standing rumor that McNabb threw up in the huddle during the fourth quarter of the game.

The six-time Pro Bowler took to Reddit last week to answer some questions from the public about his playing career and personal life, and the topic of vomiting in the Super Bowl came up.

McNabb wants to put the subject to rest.

“No, I didn’t puke,’’ McNabb said regarding the issue. “It’s unfortunate that we still talk about this 11 years after playing in the Super Bowl. But, no. That did not happen and hopefully we can stop talking about it. Once again, go watch the game tape.’’

Although McNabb never ended up winning a Super Bowl, he had a very successful career in Philadelphia. He’s top-30 all-time in passing yards (37,276) and passing touchdowns (234), but was really known for his ability to scramble away from the pocket, seventh all-time in rushing yards as a quarterback (3,249).
