Gronk thinks winning a Super Bowl ‘was easier’ than this chicken wing challenge

Rob Gronkowski may have just discovered his new pregame ritual, and it involves a whole lot of hot wings.

The Patriots tight end participated in Super Bowl 50’s “Blaze Challenge’’ on Monday. The timed chicken wing eating challenge got spicy, to say the least.

But the nose-dripping, teary-eyed Gronk, who clarified that he was not crying, pushed through.

“This is the new pregame ritual because I am ready to take someone’s head off, baby,’’ he said.

However, by the end of the challenge, he may have changed his mind.

“That was the hardest challenge I’ve ever done,’’ he said.

And then a friend reminded Gronk that he “won the Super Bowl.’’

“Yeah, that was easier,’’ he responded surrounded by a sea of used napkins and empty milk containers.
