Tom Brady has won four Super Bowls and three Super Bowl MVPs. In his six Super Bowl appearances, he averages 267.5 yards, 2.2 touchdowns, and one interception. His Super Bowl quarterback rating is 95.3.

According to ESPN, that makes Brady the best Super Bowl player ever. In the article, ESPN ranks the 50 greatest Super Bowl players in NFL history.

Brady’s Super Bowl nemesis, Giants quarterback Eli Manning, ranked at No. 7. Former 49ers quarterback Joe Montana, another four-time winner, came in at third. Former Cowboys quarterback and three-time world champion Troy Aikman finished as the runner-up to Brady.

From Brady’s section of the rankings:

“When asked which Super Bowl ring is his favorite, Tom Brady’s response is always the same: ‘The next one.’ Brady’s relentless pursuit of the ‘next one,’ which is a yearlong endeavor in which he shapes his eating habits and sleep patterns around being at his best on the football field, is as strong as ever at the age of 38.’’
