The embarrassing way one Broncos player tried to mess with Tom Brady
The anonymous quote is probably NSFW
The Denver Broncos hit Patriots quarterback Tom Brady 20 times during Sunday’s AFC Championship, the most any NFL quarterback has been hit during a game this season.
As if New England’s 20-18 loss wasn’t insult enough, Sports Illustrated’s MMQB.com quoted an anonymous Broncos defensive player as saying he wanted to embarass Brady even further. From the MMQB:
“I tried to lay on him a few times,’’ said one Broncos rusher after the game. “I tried to rub my nuts on his face.’’
The beating Brady took was so bad that a day after the game, the Patriots reportedly fired their offensive line coach.
“Brady had to know who we had on this line,’’ Broncos linebacker Shaquil Barrett told MMQB. “And he knew his line wasn’t very good coming into that game, so he had to expect this.’’
