Tom Brady isn’t sure he’ll even watch the Super Bowl
It sounds like there won’t be a Super Bowl party at the Brady-Bundchen residence
Tom Brady isn’t going to Super Bowl 50. Heck, he may not even watch it.
Following the New England Patriots’ 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game, Brady was asked what he’ll do next and whether he’d watch the Broncos face the NFC champion in the Super Bowl.
“I’m not sure,’’ Brady said in a postgame press conference. “So I don’t know. Get over these bumps and bruises, that’ll be the first thing.’’
Brady finished Sunday’s game 27 of 56 for 310 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He was under duress for many of his drop backs, and was sacked four times.
And while Brady’s having trouble talking about about Super Bowl 50, he’s already thinking about Super Bowls to come.
“I want to win it every year,’’ Brady said. “I’d love to finish in the last game every year and win it. That’s a pretty tough thing to do. Hopefully, I’ve got more opportunities for that.’’
Brady has appeared in the last five AFC Championship Games, and has played in 10 over his career. He has won four of his six Super Bowl appearances.
“It’s pretty special to play in this game,’’ Brady said of the AFC Championship Game. “Obviously to advance to the next game [the Super Bowl] is — that’s why we all play and work so hard, so it’s disappointing not to have the opportunity to do that.’’
He added: “I’m proud of the way we fought, and we certainly fought to the very end.’’
