There has been no shortage of trash talk directed at the Patriots coming out of Denver ahead of the AFC Championship Game. Broncos players have called Tom Brady a “whiner’’ and claimed Rob Gronkowski gets open because he “pushes off.’’

Gronkowski got involved in the chatter, but Patriots head coach Bill Belichick isn’t biting.

“We’re focused on the Broncos,’’ Belichick told reporters Wednesday when asked about the bulletin board material. “All the rest of it is a bunch of hot air.’’

In the Broncos-Patriots Week 12 matchup, Brady was visibly iritated with officials on multiple occasions. Ahead of the AFC title game, Broncos players have criticized him for throwing “temper tantrums’’ when he doesn’t get the calls he wants.

“If the refs want to throw the flag, I love when they throw flags on the defenders, absolutely,’’ Brady said Wednesday when asked about the comments. “It advances our team, so that’s just part of football.’’

Do the Broncos really want to make this guy angry?
