Cris Carter thinks Chandler Jones was smoking PCP
Hall of Fame wide receiver and NFL analyst Cris Carter suggested that Chandler Jones might have been smoking marijuana laced with Phencyclidine (PCP), also known as angel dust, during a guest appearance on ESPN’s Mike and Mike Friday morning.

“I think that the synthetic marijuana story might be just a story,’’ Carter said. “I think that he was smoking marijuana, and I think he was smoking some marijuana laced with PCP, and I think that’s what made him trip out.’’
Carter said that the reports of Jones smoking synthetic marijuana was “a better story to tell.’’
Foxborough Police Officer David J. Foscaldo wrote that when an officer arrived at Jones’ residence, he smelled burnt marijuana.
“When he got to the police station, why was he smelling like marijuana?’’ Carter added. “Because synthetic doesn’t smell like marijuana.’’
Additionally, Carter compared the Jones’ situation to that of Aaron Hernandez.
“What were some of the things they started looking at in him? At the end, he was smoking marijuana laced with PCP,’’ Carter said.
