Tom Brady isn’t worried about how the media is treating Peyton Manning

Tom Brady’s been through this.

Since last January, Brady has been the subject of a media firestorm that has ebbed but mostly flowed, a crush of questions and scrutiny surrounding the Deflategate scandal that would test anyone’s fortitude.

This week, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has also come under fire after a report surfaced of HGH shipments being sent to his house in 2011. So far the Manning story has garnered less interest, though that could change. On Wednesday, a reporter asked Brady if he thought he was treated less fairly during his ordeal than Manning is being treated during his.

“I haven’t thought one bit about that,’’ said Brady. “I’m just trying to do my best to help our team win. That’s what my goal is. As mentally focused as I can be on that to help our team win. We’ve all worked pretty hard to get to this point.’’

Brady also addressed his ankle injury Wednesday and said it was “feeling better.’’
