Tom Coughlin gives Giants owner cold shoulder after his final press conference
Tom Coughlin finished a passionate press conference Tuesday morning, a day after stepping down from his position as head coach of the New York Giants. And then, without uttering another word, Coughlin made a statement: the two-time Super Bowl winning coach blew right by Giants CEO and owner John Mara.
“It was not contentious,’’ Mara said of their Monday meeting, where Coughlin decided to resign. “All good things come to an end at some point in time.’’
Well, maybe not.
