Bill Belichick gets a skating lesson from Claude Julien on Winter Classic ice
For a short period Thursday, Bill Belichick wasn’t coaching — he was getting coached.
Belichick went skating with Bruins coach Claude Julien on The 2016 Winter Classic rink at Gillette Stadium. According to Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald, Belichick took a spill during the coach-on-coach session. But judging from the huge grin on Belchick’s face in the photo with Julien and Bruins general manager Don Sweeney, the Patriots coach appeared to enjoy himself.

It seems that’s how Belichick ended up wearing a Bruins beanie for his Thursday press conference. He was in good spirits. When reporters began taking photos of the Patriots head coach, he quipped: “That going on Snapface?’’

Belichick can keep information close to the hip, dismissing and dodging questions. But sometimes, the right question gets him talking.
On Tuesday, for example, he didn’t seemt to want to talk about The 2016 Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium.
But on Thursday, a reporter asked Belichick, “You ever skate?’’ A suprisingly long-winded response ensued.

Little did the reporter know, Belichick had recently gotten off the ice.
Bill Belichick’s not mad; this is just his RBF
