Tom Brady goes full ‘Maverick’ for matchup against Jets

Tom Brady feels the need, the need for speed.
The New England Patriots quarterback posted a photoshopped image on Facebook of himself on the cover of Top Gun, the 1986 movie featuring Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick’’ Mitchell, an elite Navy fighter pilot.
Against the New York Jets, Brady will be without a few of his wingmen, as Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola are inactive during the game. Still, he’ll look to take control of the Jets Sunday.
