Tommy Heinsohn mocks ‘crybaby’ LeBron and the refs who don’t call fouls on him
No, LeBron James did not win the Tommy Award .
Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn called James a “crybaby’’ for his demonstrative interactions with officials on Tuesday night at TD Garden.
“LeBron started cryin’ about four possessions ago,’’ Heinsohn said at one point during the Comcast SportsNet New England broadcast. “And he’s done it twice without a handkerchief!’’
Heinsohn, who is enshrined in the basketball hall of fame as a player and a coach in addition to being the Celtics’ longtime color commentator, didn’t spare the referees either, suggesting that they wouldn’t want to blow too many whistles against the four-time NBA MVP.
“Well, it’s the great LeBron, we’re not fouling him out,’’ Heinsohn said. “He’d get like 12 fouls in a game.’’

“LeBron is givin’ it the ol’ ‘I’m the king! You’re making a jester out of me!’’’
When all the crying and dunking was done, James’ Cavs had defeated the Celtics, 89-77.
