New England Patriots

Tom Brady is basically Buddy the Elf

Favorite Christmas song? ALL OF THEM.

Tom Brady already regaled us with a photo of him kicking back in front of the family Christmas tree. But in an interview with People magazine, the Patriots quarterback made it clear how much he loves the holidays.

What [Christmas] song will you always turn off the radio when it comes on? “I never turn off the radio when Christmas songs come on!’’

What’s your favorite, then? “I guess Rudolph would be my favorite.’’

Brady also said that real trees are better than fake ones, colored lights are better than white lights, and that despite his intense fitness regimen, “Santa’’ prefers the good little children leave him cookies instead of carrots.

Sound familiar?

Even the Scrooges out there who would rather live out their lives in Grinch-like exile than listen to another minute of Christmas music can appreciate that Brady says his children are the best gift of all.

“Every day there is something that [they] either say or do,’’ Brady told People. “When you see your kids happy or you see them learning something new … I think there are just so many gifts. They are the best part of your life … We’re just very, very blessed.’’

That’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.
