Danny Amendola returned to practice Wednesday and could be available Sunday against the Eagles. Dont’a Hightower was spotted at practice, and was sporting a knee brace, according to NESN.com.

Hightower suffered an MCL sprain in the Patriots’ 30-24 loss to the Broncos and is expected to miss a few weeks. Amendola went down with a knee sprain in Week 11 against the Bills.

“I don’t want to miss a game, and I missed a game,’’ Amendola told reporters Wednesday. “We’re here to play football. I’m going to try to get back out there as quick as I can.

“That’s why we’re here. It’s why everyone is here — to play football and not be in the tub. I don’t like it. It’s not a good feeling to not be available.’’

The receiver has missed five regular season games since signing with the Patriots in 2013. Despite missing one game in 2015, he has 49 receptions for 520 yards and two touchdowns.
