Bill Belichick still seems grumpy about Rob Gronkowski’s injury

On Tuesday, the Patriots released a joint statement with Rob Gronkowski’s family concerning the superstar tight end’s right knee injury. The statement was out of character for the usually tight-lipped organization.

Wednesday, a reporter asked a question about the statement during head coach Bill Belichick’s usual press availability. As you can see in the video above, Belichick didn’t like it.

Here’s the joint statement about Gronkowski’s injury.

“During Sunday night’s game, Rob Gronkowski sustained a bone bruise/sprain of his right knee. His status will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis and listed accordingly on the practice participation and injury reports. There is no timetable for his readiness to return, which will be determined in the days or hours prior to the appropriate game. Any timetable reported prior to that final determination would be speculative.’’

Belichick’s grumpy response comes two days after he delivered a death glare at a reporter for asking him how he was feeling when Gronk got hurt.
